Religion and Belief
The importance of recruiting employees from all religions and beliefs and ensuring that they are able to make a full contribution.
Description
Even though it's not always obvious, everyone at work will have colleagues and/or customers who have a different religion or belief from their own. So religion and belief is a key diversity issue.
Our religious and non-religious beliefs are fundamental to how we see the world and our place in it. People who live by a particular religion or belief system do so for different reasons, such as to provide meaning, purpose and a focus in life, for comfort and inspiration, or as an ethical and moral guide.
This course covers the importance of organisations recognising the benefits of embracing diversity, including actively recruiting employees from all religions and beliefs and ensuring that they are developed and encouraged to make a full contribution.
