Harassment and Bullying at Work: MyStory
MyStory directly applies the lessons of the #MeToo movement to the training sphere through a set of hard-hitting stories that bring to life the real impact of harassment and bullying at work. Drawing the users in, the compelling narratives are accompanied by information surrounding the unwanted behaviors. Guidance is then shared on how to handle such situations, both as a bystander and someone experiencing them first-hand. Users are able to select their state and take the most relevant training depending on their jurisdiction, with the course covering both federal and local anti-harassment law. The training includes four main sections: Experience, Laws and Policies, Explore and Seek help. An optional “Share” section allows users to anonymously and securely submit their personal story.
Anti-Harassment Training for Managers & Supervisors
To complement our personal, story-based course, Harassment and Bullying at Work: MyStory, VinciWorks has created video-based training. The four modules can be purchased either as stand-alone courses or together as part of a learning plan on our Learning Management System.

Despite several federal antitrust laws stretching back to the 1930’s, anticompetitive action including predatory pricing, illegal cartels and abuse of market positions still occurs and can have a serious negative impact on a business as well as the wider economy. The Securities and Exchange Commission regularly brings enforcement actions against businesses and individuals who engage in anticompetitive practices, including levying substantial fines, criminal convictions and even prison time.
In Antitrust Law: Know Your Market, users face a set of realistic characters and scenarios from all walks of life, some of whom may be trying to engage in anticompetitive practices. It is up to users to assess the risk of each situation and decide on the best course of action based on company procedures and the law.

Newer users or those that need a more in-depth refresher are encouraged to spend more time reading additional content and building up a bank of points to demonstrate their antitrust law awareness.

This course has directly applied the lessons of the #MeToo movement and the wealth of research into why traditional sexual harassment training doesn’t work to create a brand new kind of anti-harassment experience. The course has both a US version and a UK version. The US version is built to comply with the US federal and local law.
#MeToo launched a movement against sexual harassment through the simplest but bravest act of people sharing their stories. Women and men who had been targeted by predators, subjected to appalling behaviours and victimized by their harassers said "no more, enough is enough". They gave abusers nowhere to hide, and employers no room to shield the perpetrators.
We’ve built the course with three main intersecting components: Experience, Explore and Share, with the "Seek help" function providing the guidance and resources for staff who wish to report inappropriate behavior. It’s up to the user to go through them at her or his own pace, and they can easily switch between the sections.
Experience
Users are presented with striking accounts of bullying, harassment and sexual assault in the workplace. Whilst the stories are fictional, they are based on real events experienced by people every day.
Explore
This feature allows users to scroll through and explore the tweets, articles and videos which launched the #MeToo movement and helped it spread across the world.
Share
Users are offered the opportunity to anonymously and securely share their personal story, and, separately, can agree for what they share to be used in future versions of the course.
While all of VinciWorks’ latest courses are mobile-friendly, this new course has been built with a mobile-first approach. Whilst it does work on a desktop, MyStory is best experienced on a mobile device, with headphones in. The reason for this is because we wanted to create a direct experience between the user and the content. Using MyStory in a personal space; on public transport, in the kitchen or break room, or even just at your desk but via a mobile device enables the space for private, quiet reflection that this kind of topic calls for.
