OHS training for home workers

VinciWorks’ new course, Health and Safety: Working at Home, is specifically designed for people who need to know about health and safety while working from home. The course delivers short, interactive health and safety training units which are designed to make sure staff are conscious of safety concerns while they are working from home.

Based on VinciWorks’ health and safety training, the course focuses on aspects of health and safety that are pertinent to a home office, particularly ergonomics and proper use of display screen equipment (DSE).

Even if employees are working from home, employers still have a duty of care and are bound by the health and safety training requirements.

About the course

Gone are the endless slides that bear little to no relevance to a person’s working environment. Health and Safety: Working from home provides all the health and safety information in one place.

Health and Safety: Working at Home contains four stand-alone units which can be made mandatory by the admin. The units are RoSPA approved and contain dynamic, interactive learning as well as customised content as standard and ‘write-your-own’ units to ensure the right health and safety information gets to the users who need it.

Course features

The course’s DSE assessment can be integrated with VinciWorks’ reporting and tracking tool, Omnitrack
  • Short, interactive units

  • Display Screen Equipment (DSE) assessment built into the course

Integration with DSE assessment

As part of the course, users are asked whether they are experiencing any symptoms such as stiffness, throbbing pain or weakness while sitting at their desk. These assessments are immersive and engaging, and can be integrated with our reporting tool, Omnitrack. Administrators can then collect rich, actionable data from their users while they complete these assessments.
