About this guide
Pride Month is an annual month-long celebration, typically in June, dedicated to celebrating and advocating for the rights, visibility, and acceptance of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer individuals, as well as other diverse sexual orientations and gender identities.
During this month, various events, parades, festivals, rallies, and activities are organised by LGBTQ+ communities and organisations worldwide. These events aim to create a supportive and inclusive environment, promote LGBTQ+ rights, raise awareness about the challenges faced by LGBTQ+ individuals, and celebrate their identities, history, and culture.
