Compliance training experienced by most employees today is considered boring, old-fashioned and irrelevant. Because training is more than a one-off tick-box exercise, all our courses are fully interactive, relevant to specific roles in your organisation and 100% customisable (yes, feel free to change every word!). Our training covers mental health, GDPR, DAC6 and much, much more.
Started in the legal sector and expanded from there, VinciWorks used the expertise garnered in the legal sector to deliver the same quality of training to corporations in every sector. By further developing our customisation capabilities, increasing interactivity and introducing course builders to our training, we have been able to serve every type of organisation in any jurisdiction, on any compliance topic.
Compliance training for employees is the process of training employees to ensure they understand all of the relevant laws, regulations and internal policies that must be followed in their industry and job, and how to follow them. The word compliance refers to any and all regulations that employers and employees must follow when they are at work or performing work-related tasks. Some compliance training topics are mandated by local legislation and some are required for adherence with internal policy.
Compliance is something that basically any employee will concounter in their day-to-day role at work, whether in regulated areas such as health and safety, data protection, and financial matters, or in areas related to ethics and behaviour. Whether yours is a regulated or non-regulated sector, compliance training is often mandatory as it protects an organisation’s values and policies as well as a commitment to the law in some cases. The consequences of non-compliance can be devastating for organisations as well as individuals, ranging from reputational damage to fines to prison time, in some cases.
For compliance training to work well across an organisation, all employees should be trained in the areas relevant to them. Employees who undergo training get the information they need to perform their jobs efficiently, follow local laws and regulations, as well as internal policies.
We have hundreds of high-quality free resources including webinars, policy templates, best practice guides, practical resources and checklists. These resources will help all your staff comply with the latest regulations in a wide variety of compliance areas, both regulated and non, including anti-bribery, anti-money laundering, cyber security, ESG, diversity, and much more. Our most downloaded guides include our ESG policy template, GDPR data protection policy template, anti-money laundering policy template, modern slavery policy template, and more.
Training is one of the key measures a company can take to help their staff understand and follow their organisation’s internal procedures and external regulations. In addition to initial training of new staff, it’s important to also do regular refresher training and periodic short assessments such as knowledge checks in order to make sure employees’ knowledge is kept up to date.
With regard to training itself, it’s crucial that training is relevant and speaks to each user’s unique role and responsibilities. This is the best way to ensure that employees will remember what they’ve learned and know how to apply it in relevant situations.

Each time we open our email, we're diving into a world of risks.
This 10 minute course is designed to help learners understand what those risks are, and how to take action to mitigate them. Email@Risk can change your employees' behaviour and help you avoid the next cyber breach by heightening awareness towards email pitfalls and teaching proper email etiquette.

VinciWorks' diversity and harassment courses do more than simply cover business' obligations under the 2010 Equality Act. Our training tackles issues at the forefront of diversity and inclusion in the workplace. VinciWorks' diversity and harassment training suite includes both interactive story-based training and the traditional approach to e-learning.
While there is a need to focus on the traditional compliance tools; better training, better policies, and better support, harassment is a topic that needs to look at the end point first and ask the toughest question: does this workplace encourage diversity? VinciWorks' story-based training was developed with the aim of transforming learning into a personal, awareness-raising experience rather than simply a tick-box exercise.
MyStory: Diversity and inclusion at work sheds light on stories of discrimination and harassment all too frequently experienced by people in the workplace. The course is designed to bring to life the real impact of equality and diversity through storytelling. It raises awareness of the prevalence and impact of diversity-related discrimination.
#MeToo launched a movement against sexual harassment through the simplest but bravest act of people sharing their stories. Women and men who had been targeted by predators, subjected to appalling behaviours and victimised by their harassers said "no more, enough is enough". They gave abusers nowhere to hide, and employers no room to shield the perpetrators.
This course has directly applied the lessons of the #MeToo movement and the wealth of research into why traditional sexual harassment training doesn’t work to create a brand new kind of anti-harassment experience. The course has both a US version and a UK version. The US version is built to comply with the New York State and City sexual harassment prevention laws coming into force in October 2018.

It’s up to the user to go through them at her or his own pace, and they can easily switch between the sections. The course has both a US version and a UK version, allowing users to select which is most appropriate for them.

Users are presented with striking accounts of bullying, harassment and sexual assault in the workplace. Whilst the stories are fictional, they are based on real events experienced by people every day.

Every Matter Partner will require training to recognise hallmarks and properly report qualifying transactions. Our online DAC6 course provides the information and resources intermediaries need in an affordable, accessible format, where and when they need it.

Despite the legal requirement, health and safety training has a bad reputation. Most people working in an office don’t want to do it, and won’t think about it much again. VinciWorks is currently developing a new OHS course designed to make training more engaging and relevant to the user’s workplace.
VinciWorks’ Health and Safety for Office Workers course delivers short, interactive health and safety training units which are customised to the specific office they work in by default. Gone are the endless slides that bear little to no relevance to a person’s working environment. Health and Safety for Office Workers provides all the health and safety information in one place.
Health and Safety for Office Workers contains ten stand-alone units which can be made mandatory by the admin. The units are RoSPA approved and contain dynamic, interactive learning as well as customised content as standard and ‘write-your-own’ units to ensure the right health and safety information gets to the users who need it.

The training can also be fully integrated with our health and safety risk assessment portal.
SRA Standards and Regulations training The focus of the SRA Standards and Regulations, set to replace the SRA Code of Conduct in November 2019, is on each legal professional being able to justify their actions in all work that they carry out. The previous handbook was long and confusing; the new SRA Standards and Regulations are much more concise and no longer stipulates indicative behaviours.
VinciWorks’ SRA Standards and Regulations training suite will help legal professionals, including support staff, develop an understanding of the relevant regulations which apply to their specific role in the law firm. The training ensures that all employees of an SRA regulated law firm who have a responsibility as well as a legal obligation to follow the rules in the SRA Standards and Regulations have sufficient knowledge to stay compliant.
Self-reflection questions
A unique feature is the self-reflection questions at the end of the course. This provides the user with an extra layer of documentation to prove compliance to the SRA. After a user has completed the course, they will have access to a summary of how they intend to uphold each of the different SRA Accounts Rules in their everyday work. This feature demonstrates not just that the user has taken and completed the course, but they have carefully considered how they intend to uphold their professional standards and made a personal commitment to do so.

Cyber security training is most effective when delivered in short, micro-learning modules and users retain the information best when it is relevant to their individual circumstances and level of expertise. Just as we may not need to teach IT professionals about password protection, HR staff don't need to know the technical specifications of the business’ firewall.
Cyber Security: Journey to Safety takes personalisation to the next level. Presenting a brand new style of training that aims to provide the ultimate in relevant learning for the user, the course contains over 50 short individual units that can be configured to create a unique and relevant learning path for each user. Using our new builder, you can dynamically configure the training to cover topics relevant to your organisation. The builder can be used multiple times to create different courses for different job roles, or micro-courses for a cyber awareness drip campaign. All of this configuration happens instantaneously, with live previews of the results.

Recent events have once again highlighted racism and grave injustices towards people of colour, accentuating the need for both continued and renewed introspection and action to fight against racism. Sadly, these issues still exist in workplaces across the world.
As businesses think hard about whether they are doing enough to educate their staff on diversity, the demand for diversity and inclusion training has increased.
The course presents striking accounts of real-life and institutional racism. After reading each story, users are asked one simple question. The correct answer may shock you.
This course raises awareness of the prevalence and impact of institutional racism in the UK. It is designed to bring to life the real impact of race discrimination through storytelling. The user is presented with a series of short, hard hitting personal accounts of racism. While these are fictional accounts, they are drawn from the very real, all too common experiences of black, asian and ethnic minority people in the UK. After each story, users are asked one simple question about the subject. The stories are all narrated by professional voice actors, adding a powerful impact to the story.

Tax evasion is not going away. In fact, tax evasion enforcement is only ramping up. Increased fines, more investigations and additional rules and laws to comply with mean there’s never been a more important time to ensure everyone in your organisation is tax literate.
Criminal Finances Act: A Practical Overview focuses on upskilling all staff to have the tax literacy to understand the potential risks every business faces when it comes to the complex world of tax compliance. The course takes users through what they need to know in their role in order to understand what tax evasion is, how it occurs, how we are affected, and what they must do to stop it. The course begins with an interactive game that presents strategies people might use to evade tax.
Course overview
Alongside detailed information on reasonable procedures and industry-specific scenarios, the course presents users with an interactive game to help internalise the potential tripping points in their daily job which could result in facilitating tax evasion.
The course also addresses the challenge of offshore tax jurisdictions and gives guidance on how to spot red flags. Organisations can create personalised guidance for their staff, with information about what to do and who to contact when there is a concern of tax evasion from a client. The course begins with a “course builder” that generates a course for each user based on their jurisdiction, industry and level of risk in their role. Within seconds, the course is configured into one of several versions.

Despite the UK Bribery Act having come into force in 2010, bribery is still a hugely problematic issue in corporate life. Billions of pounds of fines are levied every year and frequent reports hit the headlines of investigations and prosecutions from the US Department of Justice and UK Serious Fraud Office.
Bribery cases have ensnared some of the world’s largest companies, biggest sporting bodies and most powerful politicians. The propensity for some people to act corruptly might never change, but our approach to training and compliance can.
Anti-Bribery Fundamentals will give employees the opportunity to understand the risks of bribery in their working life as well as to test their knowledge and understanding of the subject, and teach them how to avoid becoming ensnared in bribery.

Our innovative diversity suite will provide solutions for all of these issues and more. The new suite includes four different courses, each with a different focus.

Employees of law firms are regularly confronted with ethical dilemmas in the course of their work. These dilemmas stem from conflicting principles in the ethical code and the complex nature of legal work. VinciWorks’ new course, Ethics for Law Firms, part of the larger SRA training suite, introduces learners to the foundations of ethical thinking and provides the tools for how to deconstruct dilemmas, extract the conflicting principles, evaluate the situation and make a considered decision.

Vulnerable Clients in Financial Services sets out to teach users what makes people vulnerable, what the signs and characteristics of vulnerability are in specific target markets and customer bases, and how to provide an appropriate level of care to vulnerable customers. We have two versions of the course: a longer version for staff who need more detail and a shorter version for staff who need a higher level overview.

A core part of any ESG initiative is employee training. Training all staff transforms ESG from an isolated activity undertaken by a small group of staff into a process that is deeply embedded into an organisation’s culture. Further, ESG rating agencies and reporting frameworks use training as a measure of ESG effectiveness.
VinciWorks’ ESG awareness training is designed to give your employees an overview of what ESG means, why it’s important, and what you can do to help your company achieve its ESG goals.
An ally is an individual who is not a member of a particular under-represented group themselves, but who uses their power, voice and privilege to support people from that group (or multiple groups), such as the LGBTQ+ community, women, older people, people from an ethnic minority background or those with a disability. Allyship is all about valuing people from different backgrounds and learning about their lived experiences, so that we can stand in solidarity with them and ensure they are heard, seen and valued.
Being an ally is an active and ongoing process, and action can be taken at all levels - from challenging in the moment and supporting people who have been on the receiving end of micro-incivilities to providing feedback to perpetrators of inappropriate behaviour. This course explains what it means to be an effective ally and shows how workplace allies can help tackle things like micro-incivilities, bullying, harassment and other inappropriate behaviour, and help to make the workplace more equitable and inclusive.
