Release notes: Enhancements to several key features for Astute V3.2.1

VinciWorks is proud to announce the release of Astute LXP Version 3.2.1! This release bring several important enhancements to existing features and performance improvements.

Enhancements

1. Admin view of Learner information

The activate/deactivate, edit and certificate buttons have been redesigned for usability.

2. Risk Task List

  1. Email Address added to the Risk Task List table.
  2. Ability to change the number of records per page.

3. Video course upload

When uploading a video, a progress bar shows the progress of the upload.

4. Programmes

The summary page now shows activities in the unlock order instead of the order they were selected on the Activity Select page.

5. Accessibility

Accessibility improvements have been implemented to the learner home page on both Desktop and Mobile view.

6. Launch screen

If a course only contains 1 module, Astute will now load the course in a new window instantly instead of guiding the learner to a modules page before launching.

Once a course is passed, a congratulations message will show and offer you your certificate.

Bug Fixes

  1. Compliance Reporting – Activity Type renamed “Programme” instead of “Program.”
  1. Nested Departments now work as expected in Organisation Summary – Departments.

Performance Improvements

  1. Astute Themes have been consolidated into 2 themes, light and dark. Any client who had a bespoke theme before this update will keep their bespoke theme.
  2. The default image for Policies has been amended to remove the word “Policy”.
  1. When sending a batch email through Non-Compliant Users within Compliance Reporting. A confirmation message will appear once the email has been sent.
  2. A tidy-up of the columns, filters and tabs within LXP Report Builder has been performed to help make reports simpler.

GDPR added a significant compliance burden on DPOs and data processors. Data breaches must be reported to the authorities within 72 hours, each new data processing activity needs to be documented and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA) must be carried out for processing that is likely to result in a high risk to individuals. Penalties for breaching GDPR can reach into the tens of millions of Euros.
