This week is Race Equality Week, an annual UK-wide initiative that brings together thousands of organisations and individuals to raise awareness and address the current barriers to race equality in the workplace.
This year’s theme for UK Race Equality Week is #ItsEveryonesBusiness because tackling race inequality is everyone’s business.
Skill Boosters and VinciWorks have put together a short awareness guide that includes an introduction to Race Equality Week along with some suggestions on how workplaces and employees can support the initiative and actively participate, both in person and virtually. These include campaigns that both workplaces and individuals can participate in such as the 5-Day Challenge, #MyNameIs, The Big Promise, and more.
