About this guide

Mental Health Awareness Week is an annual campaign that takes place in May and aims to raise awareness about mental health and well-being. The campaign is coordinated by the Mental Health Foundation, a UK charity that works to promote good mental health for all. During Mental Health Awareness Week, the Mental Health Foundation and other organisations across the UK run events and campaigns, including online events, workshops, social media campaigns and community activities in order to encourage people to talk openly about mental health, seek support if they feel they need it, and inform themselves about key steps to look after their mental well-being.
