Instructor-Led Training is now available
This month’s update introduces Instructor-Led Training (ILT), now available to all Astute Premier clients.
ILT allows organisations to manage classroom, virtual and hybrid training alongside their existing eLearning, bringing all training into one place within Astute. It replaces the previous Face-to-Face feature with a more flexible and modern approach to managing in-person and live training.
Administrators can create courses, schedule classes, manage enrolments and record attendance, while learners can enrol onto sessions directly or request access where approval is required. All activity is integrated with Astute’s existing enrolment events and reporting, so training can be managed and tracked in a single system.
ILT has been developed based on client feedback and refined through early adopter testing, with a focus on making day-to-day training management simpler and more consistent.
What you can do with ILT
- Create training courses and schedule classes with defined dates, locations, trainers and capacity
- Manage classroom, virtual and hybrid sessions in one place
- Enrol learners directly or allow them to request access where approval is required
- Apply capacity controls and manage waitlists
- Automatically send calendar invites to confirmed attendees
- Capture attendance and outcomes for each session
- Report on all ILT activity through Astute’s reporting tools
Also in this update
This release also includes a small number of fixes and improvements across the platform:
- Future-dated records imported through Previous LMS Records now sit correctly until they are due for enrolment
- Reports using additional fields now build as expected
- Uploaded course tile and banner images now display correctly
- Certificate templates can now be removed from grouped events as expected
