Every organisation can now build its own view of its training data on the Visual Dashboard. Departments and job titles also have a page of their own, opened from the top of the Learners page.
You’ll also notice an editable cover email on scheduled reports, a quicker way to manage selected learners, and fixes across courses, certificates, Training Records and Instructor Led Training. Organisation Structure no longer appears in Organisation Management, as the new page replaces it.
Visual Dashboard
The Visual Dashboard is now available to everyone, after a few weeks with our beta clients. You choose the charts and tables you want, arrange them how you want to see them, and click into any figure to see the learners behind it.
Dashboards can be shared with colleagues, including all Line Managers or all Department Heads at once, so the people responsible for an area can see how it is doing without you building a view for each of them. You’ll find it on the Visual Dashboard tab in LXP Reporting.
Departments and job titles
Departments, sub-departments, job titles and department heads now have a page of their own, opened from the Departments and job titles button at the top of the Learners page. Sub-departments sit under their parent, so you can see how your organisation is actually structured rather than a flat list of names.
Deleting a department now tells you what it will affect before anything happens, and lets you choose where its learners move to. That keeps them in department-based enrolment rules and reporting, rather than sitting unassigned until someone moves them.
The new page replaces Organisation Structure, which no longer appears in Organisation Management.
Learners page
Manage Selected Learners now opens in a panel on the Learners page rather than a separate page, and shows who you have selected before you make a change.
Deactivating someone who is a manager or Department Head now asks you to reassign their learners or clear the reference, so nobody is left reporting to someone who has gone.
Scheduled reports
The cover email sent with a scheduled report can now be edited, both the subject and the body, so recipients get a message written for them rather than a fixed one. Existing schedules keep their current wording until you change it.
Bug fixes
- We identified and fixed an intermittent issue with WorkWize course completion in Microsoft Edge.
- On Instructor Led Training, adding and editing courses is now limited to ILT Admins, and a completed course no longer also shows as incomplete on My Progress.
- Additional Fields in Training Records now save correctly and can be added as columns in View Records.
- Trigger emails with a certificate attached now send again, and managers can now open their team members’ certificates from the Learner Certificates page.
- The Show All option in the Learners page active filter now displays properly.
