SCORM EXPORTABLE

Upload it once.

A lightweight SCORM package that runs in your own LMS and always opens the current version.

Key Capabilities

We do the hosting. You do the reporting.

THE PACKAGE

One launch file, not a whole course

Courses are supplied as a lightweight SCORM 1.2 or SCORM 2004 package, and what sits in your LMS is a single launch file. When a learner opens it, the file checks the licence and then loads the course in an iframe from the secure VinciWorks content portal. That connection to the Portal content delivery service is what handles tracking, licensing and content updates.

UPDATES

Published in the Portal, live for learners

The course interface and media are delivered directly from our servers, so learners always open the latest version and nobody has to re-upload anything. Edit your own content in the Portal, publish it, and the change is live for learners straight away.

RECORDS

Your LMS stays the system of record

Your LMS remains the system of record for course completion data. VinciWorks stores only the data necessary for content update functionality and licence tracking, using the learner identifier to match progress to the right record and to count the seats used against your licence.

What your IT team will want to know

SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004

Courses are supplied as a lightweight package in either version, so they drop into the LMS you already run.

Two variables, nothing else

At launch, your LMS passes the learner’s name and unique identifier, and that is the extent of it. VinciWorks has no access to your systems or data beyond the individual course session.

No FTP, no data connection

There is no FTP or other data connection to set up. Everything is exchanged in-session through the browser using the standard SCORM runtime.

Encrypted both ways

Traffic between your LMS and our servers runs over HTTPS. Data at rest is encrypted and strictly access-controlled.

Hosted in the UK or the EU

Data stored by VinciWorks sits exclusively in secure UK or EU facilities, under data processing agreements with our hosting providers that meet GDPR requirements.

ISO 27001, certified and retested

VinciWorks is certified to ISO 27001, covering the development, maintenance and hosting of every software platform. A CREST-accredited third party penetration tests the systems at least annually.
