This month’s release focuses on Instructor Led Training. We’ve improved how completed classes appear to learners, made class and course names easier to correct after the event, and cleared a run of issues across enrolment approvals, chaser emails and the attendance register.
You’ll also notice changes to two-factor authentication, LXP Reporting, My Progress and Quick Quiz.
Instructor Led Training
Completed classes now move into Completed on the learner home page once you’ve recorded attendance, rather than disappearing, and learners keep access to their class and module resources afterwards.
Class names can now be edited after the attendance register has been submitted, so a spelling error spotted after the event can be corrected. All other class details stay locked once the register is submitted. Renaming a course that already has completions now tells you how many learner records will be affected before you go ahead.
Further chaser and trigger email and merge field options have also been added.
Two-factor authentication
Codes now submit automatically once the sixth digit is entered, instead of requiring you to click submit.
LXP Reporting
The existing Visual Dashboard tab has been removed, as set out in the notice that has been showing on the tab. It’s being replaced by a new reporting dashboard, currently in testing, where you choose your own charts and tables and arrange them how you want to see them. We’ll let you know when it’s ready.
The old tab held no saved content, so nothing has been lost, and Report Builder and scheduled reports are unchanged.
Bug fixes
- Denying one Instructor Led Training enrolment request now denies only that request, and the reason you enter is included in the email to the learner.
- Validity chaser emails now go only to learners on the courses selected for that chaser, and the course expiry date appears correctly in chaser emails as well as trigger emails.
- Fixed several issues on classes, including adding a learner to an existing class, the Score field on the attendance register, and Class Resources and Module Resources not opening.
- Approval emails to line managers now send, and class details show “None specified” where no trainer has been set.
- Course expiry dates no longer show a time of expiry.
- Fixed reporting dates, including the First Completed column on Instructor Led Training reports, and First Passed and Last Passed on the Instructor Led Training tab of My Progress.
- Quick Quiz answer text now displays correctly on drag and drop questions.
