We’ve just released the latest Astute update. This brings a set of thoughtful improvements to help streamline your admin tasks and give learners a smoother experience across the platform.
Quality of Life Improvements
A number of small but impactful changes have gone live this month, including:
- Image guidance across the platform – Wherever you can upload an image, you’ll now see the recommended image size to help keep your content looking its best.
- New ‘Back’ button in the Risk Assessment Builder – Making it easier to move between steps when building out your assessments.
- Copy titles from templates – If you’re using a template when creating a Risk Assessment, the title now carries over automatically, so you don’t have to retype it.
- Smarter certificate templates – You can now include Standard Duration and Learner Username as merge fields, giving you more control over your certificate layouts.
- Flexible logic in Risk Assessments – You can now allow learners to skip to the next section based on how they answer a question.
- Cleaner learner tables – We’ve polished the layout of learner tables site-wide to make them easier to read and use.
- Better department filters – It’s now clearer which job titles sit within which departments when filtering learners on enrolment pages.
Performance Tweaks
To improve navigation on mobile devices, we’ve removed the banner image on smaller screens, helping pages load quicker and display more cleanly.
Bug Fixes
We’ve tackled a handful of issues raised by clients and our internal teams:
- The Save button has been removed from the Visual Dashboard, as saving these as reports is not supported.
- Fixed an issue where the Self-Enrolment Catalogue wasn’t loading as expected.
- Tidied up some email options on trigger emails — #EnrolmentStatus# was appearing in error and has now been removed.
- Resolved a bug that prevented some videos from uploading correctly.
- Fixed an issue affecting the Previous LMS Records feature, which was blocking records from being added to enrolment events.
- Removed the Include Future Events toggle from Compliance Reporting, as it didn’t do anything.
- Ampersands (&) in filters now display correctly instead of showing as &.
- Fixed a visual issue where some table headers weren’t displaying properly on the learners table within Enrolment Events.
