This release gives admins more control over how form sections behave, and makes it quicker for anyone reviewing a submission to collapse or expand everything at once.
What’s new
Collapse a section by default
Admins building a form can now turn on a “Collapsed by default” toggle for any section, instead of every section always starting expanded.
- Turn on “Collapsed by default” for any section in the Form Builder.
- When it’s toggled on, users see that section collapsed when they first open the form.
- Existing sections are unaffected until an admin turns the toggle on — they stay expanded by default.
Collapse or expand all sections in submission views
Anyone reviewing a submission can now collapse or expand every section in one go, rather than opening or closing each section individually.
- Available to both admins and end users.
- Works in the full submission view and the drawer view.
- Applies to every section in the submission at once.
Fixes
Empty section headers can now be collapsed
We’ve fixed an issue where sections with no header text couldn’t be collapsed or expanded. Empty section headers, which are sometimes used for form visibility logic, now behave the same as sections with text, including when using collapse all or expand all.
