Insights, Assignments and AI Enhanced Editing give L&D and compliance leaders the tools to customise, deliver and measure training outcomes from a single platform.
Today, we have launched three significant Client Portal upgrades: Insights, Assignments and AI Enhanced Editing. Together, they close a gap that has frustrated training leaders for years: the ability to connect training delivery directly to impact.
Most L&D teams manage content in one system, deploy training in another, and report only on completion rates. Meanwhile, senior leaders want to know whether training actually changes behaviour and reduces risk. Insights, Assignments and AI Enhanced Editing bring content, delivery and measurement into one connected platform. L&D leaders can now tailor training to their organisation, assign it to learners, and see in genuine depth whether it is working.
“Compliance training has often been treated as a box-ticking exercise, and the tools used to manage it have reflected that,” said Alyssa Redsun, Head of Product (Courses) at VinciWorks. “What we have built with these three upgrades is a response to what clients have been telling us for years: that they need to demonstrate the real impact of their training programmes, not just report on who clicked through. Insights, Assignments and AI Enhanced Editing give teams the intelligence and flexibility to do exactly that.”
Insights: moving beyond completion rates
Insights is a new analytics dashboard available to all VinciWorks clients. It transforms raw training data into actionable intelligence for L&D leaders and compliance teams.
Rather than reporting only on who passed, Insights reveals whether learners truly understood the material. It shows how they behave in real-world risk scenarios and how confident they feel about speaking up. The dashboard maps each assessment question to specific learning objectives, so administrators identify exactly where knowledge gaps exist and can target future training accordingly.
Insights maps each assessment question to specific learning objectives. Administrators identify exactly where knowledge gaps exist and can target future training. It also measures training mastery by tracking how many attempts learners need to pass content that may need clarification. Scenario-based risk scoring translates how learners respond in high-stakes situations into an organisational risk score. This gives L&D leaders a clear picture of compliance exposure.
Most distinctively, Insights includes embedded speak-up statements. These measure employee confidence in reporting misconduct and give direct insight into organisational culture. All data is benchmarked against industry and global averages, so compliance teams can see where they stand compared to peers and justify training investment to leadership.

Assignments: an LMS built directly into the Portal
Assignments is a full-featured training management system built directly into the Portal. L&D teams can create, deploy and track training within the same platform they use to manage and edit content. There is a single login, unified interface and full integration with Insights. No separate learning management system is needed.
The practical effects are significant. Data loss associated with moving content between disconnected systems is eliminated. Administration is easier: users, reports and enrolments are managed in one place. Because Assignments uses the same interface as the rest of the Portal, existing users face no new learning curve.
Administrators can upload entire employee lists in bulk, set detailed access controls and roles, and generate customisable reports down to individual learners or single courses. Learners access training through a dedicated mobile app with clear visibility of requirements and deadlines.
“The feedback from beta users was consistent: once training content and training delivery are in the same place, the entire workflow changes,” said Avi Arya, Head of Product (Portal) at VinciWorks. “Everything you need is where you expect it to be. Assignments feeds directly into Insights, so every training action becomes part of a coherent picture. For L&D leaders who have spent years managing two or three systems at once, that is a material difference.”
Kerry Meadwell, Learning & Development Business Partner at Potter Clarkson, who took part in the beta programme, said, “The assignments section was brilliant. Being able to easily filter what you need to see and report on what you need, is fantastic. For us, single access sign-on and security are crucially important, and having that across a unified system is a big advantage.”

AI Enhanced Editing: scale customisation without the manual work
AI Enhanced Editing embeds AI directly into the in-browser course editor. L&D administrators can now make large-scale updates to training content through simple prompts, without manually editing each page. Organisations can update contact details across an entire course, adapt scenarios to reflect their specific industry risks, localise content for different regions and align training with internal policies. All within minutes.
For L&D teams managing multiple courses or multiple office locations, this replaces weeks of manual editing with a guided, consistent process that is genuinely fast. Administrators spend their time on decisions, what changes matter, rather than on execution.
“Customisation has always been one of the most requested capabilities from our clients, and also one of the most labour-intensive to deliver,” said Alyssa Redsun. “AI-Enhanced Editing changes that. The AI understands the course structure and applies changes intelligently across the entire programme. That frees up L&D teams to focus on strategy rather than busywork.”

A platform built around how L&D actually works
The launch of Insights, Assignments and AI-Enhanced Editing reflects VinciWorks’ shift from a course library with reporting attached to a complete training management ecosystem. One built around the needs of L&D professionals, compliance officers and training leaders who manage multiple programmes, serve multiple locations and need to prove training works.
All three features are now available to VinciWorks clients. AI-Enhanced Editing is available as a paid add-on to a course licence, current clients are able to have a limited free trial. Insights is available to all clients at no additional cost. Assignments is available as a delivery method option within the Portal.
