Description
This course is designed for staff in further and higher education who support students. It outlines what mental health, mental wellbeing and resilience mean, and look at the particular pressures and stressors students face. Through practical guidance, case studies and interactive exercises, learners will explore how to recognise possible signs of distress, respond appropriately in both urgent and non-urgent situations, hold safe and boundaried conversations, and signpost students to relevant support services.
