Condition E6: Unpacking the Office for Students' Guidance
This course provides an overview of Condition E6, a new regulatory framework from the Office for Students (OfS).
Description
This course provides an overview of Condition E6, a new regulatory framework from the Office for Students (OfS) that sets out how higher education providers in England can prevent and respond to harassment and sexual misconduct. The course outlines the key requirements of the condition, including the need to establish a single, accessible source of information that sets out reporting procedures, and support systems, as well as guidance on training for staff and students. It bans the use of NDAs and non-disclosure mechanisms so that students can raise concerns and instances of harassment and sexual misconduct without fear of legal recrimination. By completing this course, staff and students will better understand their rights, responsibilities, and the institutional commitments in place to create a safe, respectful learning environment.
