Description
Set in an adaptive learning format, this course begins with an upfront assessment to help identify areas of weaknesses. The assessment then helps tailor the course to the learners' needs. Throughout the course, learners are guided through what asbestos is and why it is so dangerous; where it might be found; what the legal requirements are to manage asbestos if it is found; and what to do if asbestos materials are disturbed or damaged. It also includes information about different types of surveys, registers, and management plans, so that learners understand the measures that are in place now for identifying and assessing asbestos wherever and whenever it is suspected to be present.
