Everyone has the right to be safe and respected at work. But this does not always happen. MyStory sheds light on stories of discrimination and harassment all too frequently experienced by people in the workplace. The course is designed to bring to life the real impact of equality and diversity through storytelling. It raises awareness of the prevalence and impact of diversity discrimination. The training covers the UK Equality Act 2010.


The three key concepts — Experience, Explore, Share

In Experience, users are presented with striking accounts of workplace discrimination. After reading each story, users are asked one simple question. The correct answer may shock you.

The Explore feature allows users to scroll through helpful equality-related resources, articles and videos to further raise awareness and share guidance on the topic.

In Share, users are offered the opportunity to anonymously and securely share their personal story, and, separately, can agree to for their story to feature in future versions of the course.

What are the benefits of story-based learning?

While there is a need to focus on the traditional compliance tools; better training, better policies, and better support, diversity is a topic that needs to look at the end point first and ask the toughest question: does this workplace encourage diversity?
